From time to time we have Older Pups / Young Adults Available.
Typically these are either pups that we held back for our breeding program and have decided to go
a different direction. Others could be dogs that have been in our program and it is time
for them to have a family to call their own.
Most will already be spayed / neutered and since they are older, those going to pet homes are placed on a trial basis lasting 7-14 days.
Within that time should they not be an ideal fit, monies are refunded and pet returned at buyers expense. Any time after
that, should it not be working out they are always welcome back here with no refund given .

SOUTHERN STAR BAXTER BLACK
Baxter is a just about as sweet as they come. He is a peoples dog. Once he bonds with you, he will be by your side
where ever you go. He prefers his person over other dogs, but he gets along well with everybody in my pack
both males and females. I am careful when I have a girl in heat since that becomes a competition even in the presence
of a good fence.
He can be a little soft in temperament if he feels he is in trouble. He wears his feelings on his paw.
He was shown some the first year of his life and obtained his AKC Champion status. He is leash trained and
crate trained but has not been a house dog. At times when he has been in the house, he has worn a belly wrap.
As sensitive as he is as wanting to please, I see him being relatively easy to housetrain with some consistency and patience.
He is low-medium energy, doesnt have to always be busy, his toy drive is on the low side so fetching and such "might" be too much
for him. He is never more than 2-3 feet away from me when we are together.
He is fine around cats, and doesnt bother my free range chickens (but I am usually outside with him).
Feel free to ask questions, he will be a hard one to let go, but I want him to get more attention than I can currently give him.
